Dexter.
So okay, I have this wacky theory about the show Dexter that he is in fact not a sociopath who can’t process emotion. He’s just been told that over and over by his dad so he believes it’s true. What actually exists as his conscience is masked by Harry’s “rules” but it’s actually… his conscience! I mean he seems to feel legitimately bad when he kills...
I have an exam tomorrow and tons of reading besides, and all I want to do is read Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer, Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger, Brief Interviews with Hideous Men by David Foster Wallace, and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, all of which I’ve started recently.
I don’t know if I’ve ever enjoyed reading as much as I do these days.

I'm feeling so much better than I was a few months...
